TAC provides low-cost or free mediation services to individuals, businesses, and organizations in our communities. Through partnerships with local courts, and state and federal agencies, these programs allow disputes to be settled out of court and online in a simple, convenient, free, and low-cost manner.
Community mediation is only available in Tennessee through The Advocacy Center, Inc.
In Florida, please visit your local Court Mediation Program or the Florida Dispute Resolution Center's Mediator Look-Up to find and request one of our local mediators.
At its very bare bones, justice means to put something back the way it was before the harm occurred; it is the righting of wrong, and it begins by standing in the gap for those who have no voice.
We here at TAC believe that every human, no matter how small, enjoys the unalienable right to the pursuit of life, liberty, and of course, happiness. For those organizations and individuals who may not be able to advocate for themselves, TAC offers assistance with form completion and low-cost non-attorney agency services based on income and availability.
To ensure that everyone has equal access to justice, TAC offers fee waivers for individuals facing financial hardships or other significant obstacles.
If you are experiencing financial difficulties, unemployment, underemployment, or other social or economic barriers that limit your access to justice, fill out our Fee Waiver Application and include the necessary supporting documents. Examples include tax returns, pay stubs, unemployment benefits, or personal statements Then simply email your completed application and supporting documents.
Our team will assess your application with sensitivity to your social and economic circumstances, and you will be notified of the decision via email.​
