The Advocacy Center, Inc. is a faith-based nonprofit founded in honor of Honorary Colonel Petty Officer First Class Gene Shearer to offer alternative approaches to conflict and social injustice through community-based programs that promote the restoration of peace and the protection of human and civil rights.
We strive to embody our Creator's heart in not only what we but how we do it.
TAC is an all-women managed faith-based nonprofit community mediation center accredited
by the Department of Justice to offer an alternative approach to justice through conflict resolution. ​
TAC's initiatives focus in the areas of equal access to justice and international human rights, specifically advocating against the violence against women and children, and the international rights of a child.
